The carburetor on your Polaris ATV is used to bring fuel into the engine. If you are getting stalls or your engine will not turn over, you need to adjust the carburetor. Jet pins and an air adjustment valve are attached to the carburetor. This valve will allow you to reduce or increase the air flow to your engine. You must adjust this valve according to your altitude.
Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key. Wait for the ATV to cool. If you do not, you might burn your hands while adjusting the carburetor.
